time management

Everyone is constantly on the go. We’re busy all hours of the day; and between work, school and extracurricular activities it may seem like there is not enough time. The reality is that each day holds 24 hours. 1,440 minutes. 86,400 seconds. This is plenty of time .

To utilize this time best, get organized and make a plan.  There are some tried and true techniques you can start using today to get going.  Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean you must run out to buy a planner and schedule every minute of your day down to your bathroom breaks, but you should find some way of planning your daily routine that works best for you.

So here are a few tips to begin scheduling your time so your days can go smoother and all tasks can finally be checked off that list.

  • Take care of yourself because you are the one running your life and you need to be fully charged to take on all that you have to accomplish.
  •  Make lists, get a planner, buy sticky notes and any other sort of material you need to organize your tasks down on paper.
  • Make sure to figure out what time of the day you are most productive and carve out time to work during those hours.
  • You are not a super hero so sometimes you’re going to have to defer or just delete some things on your list. You must learn to delegate your time wisely because you will be held accountable for anything you sign up for.

By following these tips and being accountable for the tasks you have to complete you can manage your time better and become more organized.
